Serving nearly 16,300 students pre-K through 12th-grade with 13 early childhood centers, one K-8 school, 20 elementary schools, five middle schools, five high schools and two charter schools. District enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year is 16,278 students. Our district consists of the entire city of Loveland, the town of Berthoud, sections of Fort Collins, Windsor and Johnstown and portions of unincorporated territory in Larimer, Weld, and Boulder counties.

    The Transportation Manager assists and supports the Director of Transportation in overseeing the daily activities involving the safe and efficient transportation of Thompson School District. Achieves defined objectives by planning, evaluating, developing, implementing and maintaining services in compliance with District objectives as well as all relevant policies, guidelines, codes, and regulations; and supervising, evaluating, and directing assigned staff. Managerial duties include, but are not limited to: direct supervision of route planning, scheduling, dispatching, training, bus drivers and bus paraprofessionals as assigned. Interviewing, hiring and training of employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.  This is a Full Time, year round (260 day) position with a $50,048-$72,278 pay range.  The deadline to apply is April 1, 2018, interviews are tentatively scheduled for April 10th - 11th, 2018 and the anticipated position start date is July 1, 2018.
