The Route Logistics Analyst will work with an assigned School Bus Logistics account manager and assigned local transportation staff, as part of a consultative approach to produce high quality logistics solutions for an assigned set school districts. Ensures that barriers to success are identified and solutions are developed in a timely manner ensuring high quality customer service and efficient allocation of resources.

Analyzes recurring issues and trends, identifies deficiencies/root causes in routing operations and develops and recommends strategic solutions and action plans to improve routing and logistics processes and technologies and/or revise/develop routing standards.

Participates in the start-up of the district’s transportation operations including; data migration, training on new systems processes, policies and procedures and set-up of new systems with all required data elements etc.

Position requires travel to consult with customers on routing requirements and support local staff.

All other duties as assigned by one or more School Bus Logistics’ account managers.  Such duties to assist in the use of routing systems such as Transfinder or Versatrans.  Assist in the placement of children on bus routes using SBL’s own RouteHub system.
